Today I will show you the work prepared for the last stage of "Magic School". ATC is something that I had the opportunity to do for the first time. I made six cards in which I focused on the background texture.

I used many stamps and the crackle effect. I applied the preparation on cardboard covered with paper from the collection "Yuletide" 7 Dots Studio. Then I filled the cracks with pigments and black watercolor. I placed very few elements on the background so prepared, because I did not want to cover interesting designs. The inscription placed on the cardboard forms a whole. For its creation I used a raw cardboard, which contrasts well with the decorative background.
I painted the edges of cardboard cards with golden paint that perfectly reflects the light.

Dziś pokażę Wam pracę przygotowaną na ostatni etap "Magic School". ATC to jest coś, co miałam okazję robić po raz pierwszy. Wykonałam sześć kart, w których skupiłam się na teksturze tła. Użyłam wielu stempli oraz efektu crackle. Preparat nakładałam na tekturki oklejone papierem z kolekcji "Yuletide" 7 Dots Studio. Następnie spękania wypełniłam pigmentami i czarną akwarelą. Na tak przygotowanym tle umieściłam niewiele elementów, ponieważ nie chciałam zasłaniać interesujących wzorów. Napis umieszczony na kartonikach tworzy całość. Do jego stworzenia użyłam surowej tektury, która świetnie kontrastuje z ozdobnym tłem.
Brzegi kartoników pomalowałam złotą farbą, która doskonale odbija światło.

Therefore, it's no wonder that my next project, prepared for the third stage of "Magic School" is in such a climate. The task was to create a Junk Book and it was a big challenge for me. I have the impression that my work is a bit too "precise" and too polished, but that is my style and it is difficult to fight it.

Witajcie! Lubicie jesienne projekty? Ja uwielbiam! Zatem nic dziwnego, że mój kolejny projekt, przygotowany na trzeci etap "Magic School" jest właśnie w takim klimacie. Zadanie polegało na stworzeniu albumu typu Junk Book i było dla mnie dużym wyzwaniem. Mam wrażenie, że moja praca jest trochę zbyt "dokładna" i za bardzo dopracowana, ale taki właśnie jest mój styl i trudno mi z tym walczyć.

The challenge proposed by Juliya on her blog allowed me to reach my previously unused areas of creativity, I had to overcome my resistance several times to use certain techniques and materials. Sometimes I completely stopped believing that I could create a sensible whole, but eventually I came to a happy final. See what effect I achieved.

Wyzwanie zaproponowane przez Juliyę na jej blogu pozwoliło mi dotrzeć w niewykorzystane dotąd rejony mojej kreatywności, musiałam kilka razy przełamać swój opór do stosowania niektórych technik i materiałów. Czasami zupełnie traciłam wiarę, że uda mi się stworzyć jakąś sensowną całość, ale ostatecznie dotarłam do szczęśliwego finału. Zobaczcie, jaki efekt udało mi się osiągnąć.

"Window To The Soul" - layout

Hello! Today I want to show you my new project based on the lessons at "Magic School". The layout I made has a very, very dark background.

I chose the gray 7 Dots Studio paper from the "Yuletide" collection and applied a structural paste, which I covered with black gesso and black watercolor. Bright and luminous details look great on such a surface. I used pearly paints and mists. And also a lot of tiny beads, pebbles and iridescent elements.
My photo is also in dark colors. So I decided to revive the whole with bright additions in a turquoise shade - I used flowers and chipboards. And here is the end result:

Hello! Today I want to show you my new project, which I prepared as part of the "Magic School" joint venture.

As a base, I used a whiskey bottle. Actually, I don't like whiskey, so my husband took care the contents of the bottle, and I used what was left.

And here before decorating:

I created a magic bottle according to the inspiration moodboard of Yulia Tirskaya and the recipe she posted on her blog. I used a lot of structural paste, metallic paints and fine stones. In my project you will find buttons, imprints made using silicone molds, beads and metal pendants. The witch's head was made of paper pulp by me. Do you think it looks scary?
